I reckon that women still get the rough end of the stick and, consequently, we all suffer. Wouldn’t it be great if 50% of our leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (and politics) were women.
That’s where my champion Mel Snape belongs and she’s been accepted onto the 5th cohort of 75 women from around the world in the Homeward Bound Program.
So I’ve put my money where my mouth is by supporting her fundraising campaign. Next year you’ll see me in the bush in a snazzy #TeamHB5 T-shirt.
