Foresters Hut

Foresters Hut is a structure located a few hundred metres up the hill via management trail behind the Yankee Hat car park in the Namadgi National Park.

• KHA Namadgi database (private source). Site 247. The ACT Forest Huts were built in 1966 for the plantation of the Boboyan Pine Forest. Site consists of a small hut (former lunch shelter), a bulldozer shed, and a rainwater tank.

• Signage in hut: The small Forestry Hut was built in 1966 for the planting of the Boboyan Pine Forest ans was used by the forestry gang at lunch and other times for shelter. The larger building was constructed at the same time as a machinery shed to house the bulldozer.
