The National Botanic Gardens Alpine Annex site is located next to Pryors Hut, at the same location as the Scotts Pine arboretum, in the gap north of Mt Gingera and south of Little Ginini Mountain in the Namadgi National Park and Bimberi Nature Reserve.

Thus for several years I believed this to be the location. I even had a ground-truthing attempt on 5 Feb 11.

• In March 2022, I had a scout around the Australian National Botanic Gardens website and found a schematic here, indicating that there was a hut nearby.

I contacted the Gardens and received an immediate and definitive response from Anna, who confirmed that the hut in the schematic was Pryors Hut. So the National Botanic Gardens Alpine Annex is located beside Pryors Hut. The Scotts Pine arboretum was obviously planted after the Alpine Annex was abandoned.
