Evening views from the Cooleman Ridge Nature Reserve
Monday pm 9 November: Cooleman Ridge – S/E. Meet at the car park on Namatjira Drive just on the Kambah side of Fisher near the speed limit sign. Great views along the ridge. No bookings, just turn up at 6.30 pm. Map: Canberra. Leader: Stan M. Transport: drive yourself.

These urban fringe, daylight savings, evening rambles are perfect for the time poor and can expose you to another side of town.
The Cooleman Ridge wraps around the top of Chapman in Weston Creek. Very different this evening to the 2003 fires which decimated this area.
We walked along the Cut Off Drain Fire Trail, there and back, on a weather-perfect evening.
