Track Notes

I wanted to try out my GPSr and camera mounts on the boat. WetSpot fitted two StarPorts for me and I ordered the other bits from Freak Sports.

We met at Yarralumla but it was a bit windy, so drove round to the beach next to the Boat House restaurant.

Max gave me some good advice – not to fight the boat in the choppy conditions, but just to stay relaxed. We paddled over to the Kingston boat harbour, then back and up the Molonglo River to the Sylvia Curley bridge.

The mounts are good. The gear is out of the way of the paddle, but still within reach. Last bit will be to operate the camera from the Sony phone app.

Thanks Max, appreciate you company and advice.
