Track Notes
This has got to be the best opportunity to see the flower displays without crowds of people. A quick stroll around Floriade and out the gates before public opening at 9am. Of course, you can then re-enter and go for a coffee. Perfect before a late start to the working day in the office.
If you’re quick before they run out, there is a pedometer given to every participant, courtesy of the ACT Government.
On every day of Floriade at 8am.
Today I was co-leading with Bill Caddey, an extraordinary advocate of walking in Canberra. He has recently been instrumental in publishing a book on the Canberra Centenary Trail. The book will be launched at Floriade on Sunday 20 September at 10am. See details here.
17 walkers – including CBC members Judith W, Margaret W, me.
A repeat on 25 September
Just as good. 15 of us.
