Rob Roy from the Mt Tennent track
Saturday 12 December: Mt Tennent – L/E
Start from the Namadgi Visitors Centre and take the trail to the top of Mt Tennent and return. On track all the way. Distance is 14kms and the total climb is about 750 metres. Great views from the summit and a good Saturday morning workout. Meet at Kambah shops at 7.30 and car pool from there. Should be back at cars before 2.00PM. If you need transport and to register for the walk contact Bob L.
My new home being less than 10 minutes from the Namadgi Visitors Centre, I drove out there to meet the others as they arrived at the NVC outer car park.

Track Notes
My first walk in 5 weeks, after moving house and a couple of weeks sick. Where has my fitness gone? I struggled a bit. Smarten up Johnny Boy – only 84 days until the Cbr100.
A great crowd of old and new friend to chat with. Quite a few others on the hill. We ran into Diana K at the t-intersection as she was coming down. Plenty of Shiny Daisy Bush (Olearia tenuifolia) and Fringe Lily (Thysanotus tuberosus) about in flower.
Bob is an excellent leader – Tim Tams at morning tea and a large bag of snakes to hand round at a coming home break.
