Trip Report

A truly excellent workshop put on by NPA. Thanks for organising. Great advice from Dr David Cunningham:

David Cunningham is a part-time wildlife photographer and nature guide based in Canberra and has a PhD in ecology. His photos have featured in articles by Lonely Planet and Australian Geographic, and on an Australian postage stamp. You can view some of David’s stunning photographs on Instagram @davidcunninghamwildlife and at www.davidcunninghamwildlife.com .

My iPhone 17 Pro Max was a little overwhelmed by the BIG, LONG lenses other participants had, but we were all there to learn.

What did I learn? Slow down; or else put on a photography ramble. In around 500m beside the Cotter River we saw so many skinks, water dragons, even a crayfish.

Has my photography improved? You decide. I reckon it has a fraction.
