Thursday evening 18 September: Navigation Refresher #7: GPSr and PC. An evening looking at interfacing GPSr to PC. Use of digital mapping software (eg. OziExplorer, Garmin’s BaseCamp) and maps (eg. NSW LPI TopoView digitised 1:25000 topo maps for PC, OZTopo vector maps for GPS) to plan, record and analyse trips. We’ll also look at Google Earth and other software.
