Getting There

This walk was organised and led by Stan M as a CBC walk:

Thursday12 January - Mulligans Flat - S/E. Meet at 6:30 pm in the main Mulligans Flat car park. Go down Horse Park Drive, turn into Francis Forde Boulevarde as per sign, then left into Amy Ackman Street, which will take you to the Mulligans Flat car park. Nice open bushland. No need to book. Map: TAMS: Mulligans Flat NR Leader: Stan M. Transport: drive yourself.

Another great number of walkers - 18 or 23 - my memory doesn't work for long.

The map segment from the Hall 1:25000 topographic map from TopoView Raster 2006 digital maps certainly doesn't represent the current state of the area - suburbs are closing in. So it's nice to know the fence is there and that nearby suburbs are 'cat free'. Even the current Google Earth imagery is a little behind the times.

A nice stroll, same as 13 Jan 11. Nice to talk with new people, 2 of whom are joining CBC. The club is large enough to cater for all sorts of walks - from after work urban fringe rambles, to day walks, to over night shared accommodation and car camps, to multi-day packwalks in the ACT, in other Australian states and overseas. Something for everyone!
