Walk Description

This walk was organised and led by Phillip S a a CBC evening walk:

Monday evening 9 December: Goorooyarroo Nature Reservee - S/E. Meet at the parking area on the northeastern side of Horse Park Drive about 1.5 km toward Gungahlin from the Federal Highway junction (Gungahlin exit) at 6:30 pm for a walk to Sammy’s Hill. 9 of us met. I still feel guilty for asking the leader to come out of his way and pick me up.

A gentle stroll in the Goorooyarroo NR. I had to be reminded where Sammys Hill is (not part of Gecko Hills). Sullivans Creek runs down its E flank, although dry where we crossed it. Last time I was here was 17 Jan 09.
