Getting There
This walk was organised and led by me, as a private walk:
Thursday evening 29 November - Southside evening stroll - Mt Stromlo - S/E. I'm wanting a new walk leader to lead a walk with me. How about it - contact me and have a go! For walkers joining this amble, meet outside the boom gate at the entrance to the Mt Stromlo observatory area at 6pm. No need to book. We'll wander around the fire trails on the west side of Mt Stromlo, including to a couple of interesting features. Mt Stromlo Observatory has asked CBC to contribute a short and easy walk to their soon-to-be updated brochure, so here's our chance to help. Around 7km and 100m climb. Maps: Canberra and Cotter Dam. Enquiries to: John Evans - john@johnevans.id.au, 0417 436 877. Transport: drive yourself.

Walk - Track Notes
Only 1 taker. A hot evening, still 32°C when we started. Same as 6 Nov 12. Remembered to take a panorama shot with my iPhone 4S, now that the feature is available in the Camera app under iOS 6. But with recent knowledge from Peter C, we visited the Canberra Seismic Station. So obvious when you know where to look.
Thanks Paul E for turning up. Hope you enjoyed it.
Distance: 6.6km Climb: 125m. Time: 6.05 - 7.40pm (1hr 35mins), with no stops.
Grading: S/E; E(5)
