Getting There

This walk was organised and led by Jenny H as a CBC walk for the ACT & Region Heritage Festival:

Saturday 28 April - Orroral Homestead Heritage Ramble - S/E. A ramble up the valley to the homestead from the Orroral campground. At the homestead light refreshments will be provided by MOTH (Minders of Tuggeranong Homestead) for a gold coin donation and there will also be a talk about the location’s European history. This activity is a CBC contribution to Heritage Week. Map: Rendezvous Creek. Leader: Jenny H. Transport: TBA.

Area of ramble

Gay and I drove the eats, water and a stove or two in to Orroral Homestead and assisted Jenny with morning tea. Looks like the 24 folk had a great time wandering up from the Orroral Campground via the Heritage Trail, had a cuppa, Jenny gave a most interesting talk, then they wandered off again.
