Getting There

This walk was organised by me as a CBC walk:

Sunday 20 November - Assist with 3 public walks to/from Namadgi Visitors Centre - M-L/E. Namadgi National Park invites CBC members to assist in the public 25th celebration of the formation of the Australian Alps National Parks MOU. Each of three Ranger led walks needs 2 CBC members to accompany them, to provide general bushwalking patter and, if possible, tales of walking parts of the AAWT. Maximum 10 members of the public in each group. 1 - Honeysuckle Creek camp ground to NCV; 2 – Booroomba Rocks car park to NVC (buses take walkers to start); 3 – NVC to Cypress Pine Lookout and return. A typical AAWT camp site also needs to be set up to demonstrate gear. Facilitator: John Evans jevans@pcug.org.au, (h) 6288 7235. Transport: ~$5 per person.

Walk

A great way to put something back in. Thanks to Peter C and Linda G who provided bushwalking patter on walk 1; Chris R and Edwina Y on walk 2; Di G and Llewellyn S-P on walk 3; Rob H for the typical (and near genuine!) AAWT camp site. At least I got to wander up to Cypress Pine Lookout. The organiser, Ranger Sanda C, is a dynamo!
