Track |
A pleasant round of some of the NR. A stop at the restored shearing shed, very nicely done with automatic locking door at night, great signage and a couple of wool presses and some fleeces. Out to the E to the fence, then N, then W-ish along the Pipeline Track across the top of the Reserve. Must have seen around 20 Shingleback lizards on both sides of the fence and a couple of tortoises. Arvo tea - thank you for all the birthday goodies and song! Back down to the cars, the sky overcast, but no showers.
A nice little ramble with some great folks - nice to catch up with old and new friends Alex N and Gita M, Alison M, Brooke K, Bruce L, Christian O'C and Diana H, Erica M, Gavin F, Jenny N, Nathan H, Neralie L, Peter T, Stan L and Teresa M.
Distance: 9.4km Climb: 100m. Time: 1.35 - 4.15pm (2hrs 40mins), with 15mins of stops.
Grading: S/E; E(5)
