Getting There

This walk was organised and led by Stan M as a CBC walk:

Monday 13 December- Mt Stromlo - S/E. Meet 6.30, park at the junction of Coppins Crossing Road and Uriarra Road. We will walk on some of the old trails on the side of Mt Stromlo with some views. No need to book. Map: n/a Leader: Stan M. Transport: drive yourself.

Track Mt Stromlo

A pleasant wander up the fire trails on the N side of Mt Stromlo. Then SW across the back of the Mt Stromlo Observatory buildings. Nice views to the Tidbinbilla and Brindabella Ranges. Dust rising from the Cotter Dam site, later picked out in lights. Back via a different route.

Great to catch up with old friends and talk with a few new ones.
