Walk A lovely half-day stroll, arranged and advertised at the last moment by Peter W. Three of the party were limbering up for weeks of walking in Patagonia. A brief stop at Cypress Pine Lookout (see pic 1) then lovely to see water flowing under the bridges and over the rocks a bit further on. Always a grand view from the fire tower (see pics 2 and 3), with a special look up the Blue Gum Creek cut as I'm thinking of a wander down said creek. Return via same, with a thunderstorm chasing us down the hill. Grand to have the track running as a rivulet and lovely after the rain stopped. Quite a show of lightening and thunder. Thanks to Peter and Henry, Lionel, Madeleine, Mike and Annette and Penny. Distance: 13.0km Climb: 780m. Time: 8.35am - 12.30pm (call it 4hrs), with 20mins of stops.
