28 February 2013 Theodore Knolls and axe-grinding grooves Walk Description This walk was organised and led by me as a private evening walk: Thursday evening 28 February: Theodore Knolls and axe-grinding grooves – S/E. Wander the Tuggeranong Hill Nature Reserve. North-east over the Theodore knolls to the indigenous axe-grinding grooves. Around 5km and 150m climb. Map: Tuggeranong, or TAMS CNP Tuggeranong Hill Nature Reserve. Leader: John Evans - john@johnevans.id.au, 0417 436 877. Transport: Please drive yourself to meet at the Callister Crescent entrance to the Nature Reserve by 6pm. No need to book. Seems like I only have one mate, and especially after I'd arranged for the rain to nearly stop. A quick circuit to the grooves and back via the back of the houses out of the wind. A bit showery. 7pm back at the cars and the wind was fierce, so we didn't go up Tuggeranong Hill.
